About the role

Stanbic IBTC Asset Management, part of Standard Bank Group, is looking for a software developer to design and build cross-platform mobile applications. The role sits within the asset management business and involves working closely with product managers, designers and backend developers.

Key responsibilities

Design and develop cross-platform mobile applications using React Native, with proficiency in JavaScript and TypeScript.
Deploy scalable applications to Android and iOS platforms.
Work with product managers, designers and backend developers to create intuitive, responsive and high-performing apps that improve user experience and meet business goals.

Required profile

Minimum BSc degree in Information Technology and Computer Sciences or a related field.
2 to 3 years of experience in IT solutions development and testing.
Experience deploying applications to Android and iOS platforms (an added advantage).

Required skills

React Native, JavaScript and TypeScript
Agile engineering, continuous integration (CI), continuous delivery (CD) and continuous deployment
Software engineering methods and tools, test-driven design (TDD)
