About the role
ARQ Studios is seeking a strategic, creative and culturally‑aware Social Media Manager to join its remote team in Nigeria. The role will support both ARQ Studios’ own channels and a portfolio of client accounts, developing social strategies, planning content and driving community engagement.
Key responsibilities
- Develop and manage social media strategies for ARQ Studios and client accounts.
- Create structured monthly and campaign content calendars aligned with brand objectives.
- Plan, produce and schedule content across Instagram, TikTok, LinkedIn, Facebook and other relevant platforms.
- Write engaging captions, hooks, calls to action and platform‑specific copy.
- Brief designers, editors and creatives on required assets and oversee production of Reels, TikToks, carousel posts and stories.
- Monitor comments, messages and online communities while maintaining each brand’s tone of voice.
- Conduct competitor research, trend analysis and monitor platform updates.
- Analyse performance across platforms and provide actionable recommendations in regular reports.
- Support campaign and product launches and maintain visual and messaging consistency.
Required profile
- Experience working within a creative agency.
- Experience with lifestyle, beauty, hospitality, fashion, food & beverage or entertainment brands.
- Experience capturing content on professional shoot days.
- Experience using scheduling and social media management platforms.
- Experience with analytics and reporting tools.
Required skills
- Proficiency with social media scheduling and management tools.
- Ability to use analytics and reporting platforms.
- Understanding of paid social media campaigns.
- Basic knowledge of SEO and social search.
- Familiarity with AI‑assisted content creation tools.
