Social Media Manager & Content Creator

About the role

Codelabprojects Nigeria Limited is seeking a creative and energetic Social Media Manager & Content Creator to boost its digital presence. The role involves planning, producing and publishing engaging multimedia content across multiple platforms, while generating leads and increasing brand awareness.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and execute social media marketing strategies that increase brand awareness, audience engagement, and lead generation.
• Plan, create and publish engaging content across Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, TikTok, YouTube, X (Twitter) and other digital platforms.
• Capture high‑quality photographs and videos using DSLR or mirrorless cameras, lighting equipment and microphones.
• Produce reels, promotional videos, product demonstrations, interviews and corporate event coverage.
• Edit videos, photographs and digital assets using Adobe Premiere Pro, CapCut, Canva, Adobe Photoshop, Lightroom or similar tools.
• Develop creative content ideas and campaigns that support business growth and customer acquisition.
• Manage the company’s content calendar and ensure consistent publishing across all platforms.
• Monitor social media performance, engagement metrics and campaign analytics, recommending improvements.
• Collaborate with internal teams to communicate the company’s products and services effectively.
• Research industry trends, competitor activities and audience preferences to improve content performance.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Mass Communication, Media Studies, Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology or a related discipline (engineering degree is an advantage).
• Minimum of 2 years’ experience in social media marketing, content creation, digital marketing or media production.
• Hands‑on experience operating DSLR or mirrorless cameras, lighting equipment, microphones and other media production tools.
• Proficiency with Adobe Premiere Pro, CapCut, Canva, Adobe Photoshop, Lightroom or similar software.
• Strong understanding of social media strategy, content planning and audience engagement.
• Excellent photography, videography and visual storytelling skills.
• Ability to generate innovative content ideas that drive engagement and business leads.
• Strong organizational, planning and project‑management abilities.
• Effective communication and teamwork skills.
• Capability to work independently and deliver high‑quality content within deadlines.
