Site Engineer

About the role

Euro Fmcg Universal Beverages Ltd is seeking an experienced Site Engineer to oversee construction and engineering activities for industrial facilities in Ibadan and the surrounding Marina area.

Key responsibilities

• Supervise daily construction, civil works, structural works and industrial infrastructure development.
• Coordinate with contractors, subcontractors, consultants, architects and project management teams to ensure work follows approved drawings and specifications.
• Monitor project schedules, labour productivity, material usage and compliance with quality, safety and environmental standards.
• Prepare regular progress reports and manage inspections, testing and approvals with authorities.
• Identify risks, delays and cost variations and recommend corrective actions.

Required profile

• Minimum HND in Civil Engineering or related discipline.
• 7–10 years of site engineering and civil construction experience, preferably on Free Trade Zone or industrial estate projects.
• Proven experience managing contractors, subcontractors, site teams and project schedules.
• Strong communication, problem‑solving and reporting abilities.

Required skills

• Proficiency in AutoCAD.
• Advanced MS Excel skills.
• Knowledge of construction drawings, BOQs, estimation and material planning.
• Familiarity with Nigerian construction standards, permitting procedures and Free Zone regulations.
