Senior Urban Designer

About the role

Rendeavour is seeking a Senior Urban Designer to lead the design and refinement of master plans, mixed‑use districts, and public‑realm strategies for its Nigerian projects, primarily Alaro City. This full‑time, on‑site position will translate strategic visions into cohesive, functional, and attractive urban environments.

Key responsibilities

• Collaborate with planners, architects, engineers, and landscape professionals to develop integrated urban designs.
• Produce detailed drawings, presentations, and design guidelines that meet market, regulatory, and sustainability requirements.
• Coordinate land‑use, circulation, and open‑space systems across large‑scale developments.
• Engage internal and external stakeholders, review development applications, and mentor junior team members.

Required profile

• 7+ years of experience in large‑scale urban development or master planning, preferably in emerging markets.
• Strong expertise in urban planning, comprehensive planning, architecture, and landscape architecture.
• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Urban Design, Urban Planning, Architecture, Landscape Architecture, or a related field.
• Excellent analytical, problem‑solving, and communication skills.
