Senior Project Engineer

About the role

ASPEN Energy Nigeria Limited is hiring a Senior Project Engineer in Lagos (Marina) to supervise capital projects valued up to US$40 million. The role covers planning, coordination, risk and quality management across contractors, subcontractors and engineering teams.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and maintain project execution plans, budgets and schedules.
• Coordinate contractors, subcontractors and engineering teams.
• Monitor progress and provide timely project reports.
• Manage project risks, changes, health and safety and quality assurance.
• Obtain required regulatory approvals, permits and consents.
• Liaise with joint venture partners, procurement teams and other stakeholders to secure approvals and support project delivery.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering; a Master's degree in Engineering, Project Management or a related discipline is optional.
• Minimum of 8 years' project management experience in the oil and gas industry.
• Experience in oil and gas field production.
• Chartered Engineer status preferred.

Required skills

• Knowledge of oilfield contracts and contracting strategies.
• Project management of capital projects up to US$40 million.
