Senior Programme Manager

About the role

The Senior Programme Manager will be the operational backbone of the CADY initiative, turning strategic intent into structured, accountable, and measurable programme delivery. This role manages stakeholder relationships, coordinates the Technical Working Committee, oversees facility development timelines, manages budgets, and ensures programme commitments are met with excellence.

Key responsibilities

• Lead end‑to‑end project planning, execution, and monitoring across all CADY workstreams.
• Coordinate facility remediation projects at Yabatech, tracking contractor timelines, budgets, and outcomes.
• Manage procurement and deployment of equipment for Drawing, Painting, Textile, Graphics, Ceramics, and Fashion departments.
• Build and maintain a CADY activity calendar aligned with academic calendars and Alára’s operational rhythm.
• Serve as primary liaison between Alára, Yabatech administration, and Technical Working Committee members.
• Oversee external partner relationships, including sponsors, donors, and government agencies.
• Develop and manage the CADY programme budget, tracking expenditure against allocated funds.
• Produce high‑quality programme reports, maintain documentation, and draft external communications.

Required profile

• Minimum 5 years of programme or project management experience, preferably in education, culture, or development sectors.
• Proven ability to manage multi‑stakeholder initiatives with government or institutional partners.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills for producing executive‑level documents.
• Demonstrated experience in budget management and financial reporting.
• Understanding of the Nigerian tertiary education landscape, especially arts and vocational training.

Required skills

• Proficiency with Asana.
• Proficiency with Notion or equivalent project‑management tools.
• Advanced use of Microsoft Office Suite.
