Senior Product Designer – Design System

About the role

Moniepoint is seeking a Senior Product Designer who will own and evolve its design system, creating a scalable UI ecosystem that serves multiple products, teams, and platforms. You will bridge design and engineering to ensure visual assets translate into clean, reusable, and accessible code.

Key responsibilities

• Maintain high standards for layout, typography, colour, spacing, visual hierarchy, and overall digital finish across reusable elements.
• Design, build, and maintain robust component libraries (buttons, inputs, cards, navigation, forms, tables, etc.) that scale across products.
• Define interactive behaviours and motion states (hover, focus, disabled, loading, mobile) to make components feel alive.
• Structure and manage design tokens (colours, spacing, typography, border‑radius, shadows) to keep design and code in sync.
• Organise complex Figma libraries with variants, properties, and variables to empower other designers.
• Partner closely with engineering teams across Web, React, Flutter, Android, and iOS to navigate technical constraints.
• Create clear usage guidelines and documentation for when and how components should be used.

Required profile

• Proven track record building, scaling, and maintaining production‑ready design systems.
• Deep understanding of cross‑platform constraints for Web, iOS, and Android.
• Systems‑thinking mindset demonstrated through a portfolio showing impact across multiple products.
• Strong familiarity with how developers inspect, build, and consume components in code repositories.

Required skills

• Advanced proficiency with Figma (libraries, auto‑layout, variants, variables).
• Solid knowledge of WCAG accessibility standards and inclusive design principles.
• Experience with component‑driven frameworks such as React and Flutter.
• Understanding of Atomic Design methodology and design token management.
