Senior Management Consultant – Commercial

About the role

We are looking for a Senior Management Consultant – Commercial to lead end‑to‑end consulting engagements, drive enterprise‑wide transformation initiatives, and build trusted relationships with senior client executives in our Lagos office.

Key responsibilities

• Lead and manage consulting assignments from initiation through delivery, ensuring scope, timeline, quality and budget compliance.
• Develop practical recommendations, implementation roadmaps and performance‑monitoring frameworks that generate measurable business outcomes.
• Drive enterprise‑wide transformation projects covering strategy, operations, people, processes and technology.
• Design and execute change‑management strategies to secure stakeholder adoption and sustain results.
• Conduct market, industry and competitor analyses to shape growth and operational improvement strategies.
• Build and maintain trusted advisor relationships with C‑suite executives, serving as the primary engagement lead for key accounts.
• Identify new consulting opportunities, prepare high‑quality proposals and pitches, and contribute to revenue‑generation targets.
• Lead, mentor and develop consulting teams, fostering a collaborative, high‑performance culture.

Required profile

• 10–15 years of professional experience in management consulting, preferably with a Big 4, global or leading indigenous firm.
• Proven track record of delivering strategy, transformation, organisational development and change‑management projects from proposal to closure.
• Strong business‑development experience with evidence of revenue generation and client acquisition.
• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Economics, Engineering, Finance or related field; MBA or relevant postgraduate qualification highly preferred.
• Professional certifications in Project Management, Change Management, Strategy or Business Analysis are advantageous.
