Senior Java Software Engineer

About the role

The Senior Java Software Engineer will design, develop, and optimise Java‑based applications, primarily using the Spring Framework. You will work on building scalable microservices and ensure high‑quality solutions that meet business and client needs.

Key responsibilities

• Design, develop and optimise Java applications with Spring.
• Build and maintain scalable microservices architectures.
• Troubleshoot and resolve system issues.
• Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to deliver robust software solutions.
• Apply agile best practices throughout the development lifecycle.

Required profile

• Proficiency in Java programming and solid knowledge of the Spring Framework.
• Experience designing and implementing scalable microservices.
• Strong background in software development and agile methodologies.
• Understanding of backend development, system design and integration.
• Problem‑solving mindset and ability to work collaboratively.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering or a related field.
• Banking or fintech experience is a plus.
