Senior HR Business Partner – Transport & Technical Services

About the role

The Senior HR Business Partner will support the Transport & Technical Services unit of DP World, driving high‑performance culture, talent development and HR transformation. You will act as a strategic advisor to managers, ensuring HR initiatives align with business goals and Nigerian labour regulations.

Key responsibilities

• Provide end‑to‑end HR support for performance management, employee relations, benefits, compensation and diversity & inclusion.
• Lead workforce planning, manpower forecasting and talent pipeline development for short‑ and medium‑term needs.
• Design and deliver HR analytics dashboards and reporting metrics to senior leadership.
• Coach managers and teams through change, fostering capability and engagement during transitions.
• Partner with functional managers to identify training gaps and coordinate learning programs.
• Negotiate with stakeholders and maintain constructive relationships across the business.

Required profile

• B.Sc. or HND qualification.
• 5‑8 years progressive HR Generalist experience, preferably in logistics or transport.
• Strong knowledge of Nigerian Labour Law and related statutes.
• Proven ability to link HR strategy with overall business strategy.
• Experience in performance management, employee relations, diversity & inclusion, workforce planning and change management.
