Senior Demand Planner

About the role

The Senior Demand Planner will ensure product availability through accurate demand forecasting, inventory planning, and replenishment management. This role works closely with Sales, Logistics, Warehouse, and Supplier teams to drive operational efficiency and support business growth.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and maintain monthly and rolling demand forecasts to support business objectives.
• Monitor stock availability, ageing inventory, and near‑expiry products to minimize waste and optimize turnover.
• Plan replenishment orders based on forecast, stock norms, and goods in transit.
• Create and manage purchase orders and stock transfer indents in line with business requirements.
• Coordinate with warehouse and logistics teams to ensure timely deliveries and optimal distribution.
• Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly inventory and forecasting reports for management review.
• Participate in S&OP and demand review meetings to align supply chain strategies with commercial goals.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Business, Logistics, Statistics, or a related field.
• 3–5 years of experience in demand planning, inventory management, or supply chain operations.
• Strong analytical skills with proficiency in Excel and ERP systems.
• Excellent stakeholder management and communication abilities.
• Prior experience in the FMCG industry is highly preferred.
