Senior Brand Manager

About the role

We are seeking a Senior Brand Manager to lead the development and execution of brand strategies for Nigeria Distilleries Limited. The role focuses on driving brand equity, market share, and revenue growth across the beverage portfolio.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and execute brand strategies to increase brand equity, market share, and revenue growth.
• Lead planning and execution of integrated marketing campaigns, product launches, and promotional activities.
• Drive consumer awareness, engagement, and brand visibility across all marketing channels.
• Monitor market trends, consumer insights, and competitor activities to identify growth opportunities.
• Manage brand budgets and evaluate campaign performance to maximize ROI.
• Develop creative briefs and manage relationships with advertising, media, digital, and activation agencies.
• Lead sponsorships, events, and experiential marketing initiatives.
• Collaborate with Sales and Trade Marketing teams to ensure effective execution across Modern Trade, General Trade, and On‑Trade (HORECA) channels.
• Track brand performance and prepare regular reports with actionable insights.
• Mentor and support junior brand team members while contributing to overall marketing strategy.

Required profile

• Minimum HND in Marketing, Business Administration, or a related discipline; MBA is an advantage.
• At least 7 years of experience in Brand Management or Marketing within the FMCG industry.
• Experience in Wines & Spirits or Beverage FMCG is highly preferred.
• Proven track record of developing successful brand strategies and delivering commercial growth.
