About the role

FMR Agency is seeking a Senior Accountant to join its finance team in Kano. You will be responsible for maintaining accurate financial records and supporting the company’s operational activities within the shipping and logistics sector.

Key responsibilities

• Manage and maintain financial records.
• Monitor daily transactions and ensure proper documentation.
• Prepare periodic financial reports for management.
• Ensure compliance with accounting standards and internal controls.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• 4–6 years of experience in accounting or financial operations.
• Experience in transport, logistics, or operational industries is an advantage.
• ICAN certification or candidacy strongly preferred.
• Strong analytical, organizational, and problem‑solving abilities.
• High level of accuracy, accountability, and attention to detail.
• Ability to thrive in a fast‑paced operational environment.

Required skills

• Proficiency with accounting software.
• Advanced Microsoft Excel skills.

What we offer

• Competitive monthly salary ranging from NGN 300,000 to NGN 400,000.
