Senior Account Manager – Agency

About the role

The Senior Account Manager will act as a strategic leader for key agency clients, driving integrated digital and experiential marketing campaigns that deliver measurable business growth. Reporting to senior leadership, you will manage high‑value accounts, develop new business opportunities, and mentor a team of account professionals.

Key responsibilities

• Own 2‑4 high‑value client accounts across FMCG, financial services and telecom sectors, ensuring alignment with business objectives and agency profitability.
• Develop and execute client development plans to meet revenue targets and expand the agency’s footprint.
• Lead pitch creation, proposal writing and contract negotiations for new business opportunities.
• Monitor market trends, competitor activity and emerging digital technologies to refine service offerings.
• Coach, mentor and manage a team of account managers, fostering a collaborative, high‑performance culture.
• Track performance metrics, client satisfaction and retention, implementing improvements as needed.

Required profile

• Proven experience managing senior‑level client relationships in an agency environment.
• Strong commercial acumen with a track record of meeting or exceeding revenue targets.
• Excellent strategic thinking and the ability to translate client business goals into marketing solutions.
• Demonstrated leadership skills, including team coaching and talent development.
• Deep understanding of FMCG, financial services or telecom markets is a plus.
