Security Assistant

About the role

The Security Assistant supports the Security Department by handling documentation, reporting, and administrative tasks to ensure the safety of staff and assets. This role works closely with line managers, the Country Security Manager (CSM), and operations advisors.

Key responsibilities

• Collect and submit required documents on the SCMCHA system for staff visits, trainings, shipments, and travel permits.
• Maintain and archive all security documentation, including incident reports.
• Monitor staff movements, ensure clearances from SCMCHA and the Interior Ministry Operations Room, and report incidents immediately.
• Supervise and train security guards and drivers, enforcing standard operating procedures.
• Manage security equipment such as cameras, office assets, and conduct inventory checks.
• Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly reports and communicate updates via email.
• Support the development and implementation of evacuation and emergency security plans.
• Conduct physical security surveys and ensure compliance with Minimum Operating Security Standards.

Required profile

• Ability to report to line managers, CSM, and OPS Advisor on security matters.
• Willingness to travel to assigned districts and participate in security drills.
• Capability to handle confidential information and report losses or malfunctions promptly.
• Readiness to assist in investigations of security breaches while maintaining strict confidentiality.
