Security Assistant – Administration & Operations

About the role

The Security Assistant provides essential administrative support to the Security Department, ensuring that all documentation, reporting, and equipment management are handled efficiently and in compliance with organizational standards.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare daily, weekly and monthly security reports and submit required documents through the SCMCHA system.
• Coordinate staff movements, travel permits, and field visit authorizations with the Interior Ministry Operations Room.
• Maintain and archive all security documentation, including incident reports and equipment inventories.
• Supervise and train security guards and drivers, enforcing Standard Operating Procedures.
• Manage security equipment such as cameras, office assets, and warehouse devices, ensuring proper custody and reporting any loss or malfunction.
• Support the development and execution of evacuation and emergency plans.
• Conduct physical security surveys and monitor compliance with Minimum Operating Security Standards.

Required profile

• Strong organizational skills with the ability to handle multiple administrative tasks.
• Excellent communication with line managers, Country Security Manager and Operations Advisor.
• Willingness to travel to assigned districts and participate in security drills.
• Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information.

Required skills

• Proficiency with the SCMCHA system for document submission.
• Experience using an incident management reporting system.
• Inventory management of security equipment.
