About the role
We are seeking a reliable driver to operate our school bus, ensuring safe and punctual transportation of pupils at Canon James Pearse Anglican College in Lagos. The role involves daily trips, vehicle inspections, and adherence to school policies within a Christian missionary boarding school setting.
Key responsibilities
- Safe transportation of pupils, ensuring their well‑being during travel
- Adherence to traffic rules and school transport regulations
- Conduct pre‑trip and post‑trip vehicle inspections
- Maintain vehicle cleanliness and perform routine maintenance
- Ensure punctuality for all scheduled routes
- Safeguard the safety of pupils at all times
- Keep accurate records of discipline and conduct
- Handle emergencies promptly and effectively
- Uphold confidentiality and accountability in all duties
Required profile
- Minimum of a secondary school leaving certificate
- Relevant school bus driving experience is desirable
- Strong communication, interpersonal, and organizational abilities
- Good character and willingness to work in a Christian missionary boarding school environment
