Salesperson – Insurance Solutions

About the role

Heirs Insurance Group is seeking a full‑time Salesperson to join its Lagos team. This hybrid position combines on‑site client engagement with flexible work‑from‑home days, focusing on generating new business and supporting existing customers across a range of insurance products.

Key responsibilities

• Generate leads and build relationships with prospective and existing clients.
• Present suitable insurance solutions, conduct sales meetings and follow up on inquiries.
• Prepare proposals, negotiate terms and close sales to meet individual and team targets.
• Maintain accurate records in CRM or sales management systems.
• Collaborate with internal teams for smooth policy onboarding and provide post‑sale support.
• Participate in networking events, market outreach and stay updated on product, regulatory and market trends.

Required profile

• Strong sales and negotiation track record with a customer‑service orientation.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for building trust.
• Organizational and time‑management abilities to handle multiple prospects.
• Relevant experience in sales, financial services or insurance is an advantage.
• Minimum diploma or bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Finance or related field.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a hybrid environment.
• High level of integrity, professionalism and commitment to regulatory compliance.

Required skills

• Basic proficiency with digital tools.
• Experience using CRM or sales management software.
