Sales/Marketing Manager

About the role

The Sales/Marketing Manager will develop and execute sales and marketing strategies for NJZC's ready‑mix concrete products, targeting key growth areas in Lagos. The role involves generating leads, securing contracts, and building strong relationships with construction stakeholders.

Key responsibilities

• Design and implement sales and marketing plans for ready‑mix concrete, focusing on Ajah, Lekki, Victoria Island and surrounding areas.
• Identify, develop and convert new business opportunities within the construction sector.
• Generate leads, conduct site visits, prepare quotations and negotiate commercial terms.
• Maintain and grow relationships with contractors, developers, engineers, consultants and other stakeholders.
• Conduct market research to uncover new projects, customer needs and competitive trends.
• Monitor sales activities, report performance against targets and collaborate with operations and technical teams to ensure customer satisfaction.

Required profile

• Minimum 5 years of sales/marketing experience in ready‑mix concrete, construction or related building‑materials industry.
• B.Sc./B.Tech or equivalent qualification; professional certifications are a plus.
• Strong knowledge of the Lagos construction and property‑development market, especially Ajah, Lekki and Victoria Island.
• Proven ability to generate leads, negotiate deals and achieve sales targets.
• Excellent communication, presentation and relationship‑management skills; self‑motivated and target‑driven.
