Sales Specialist

About the role

Leadway is seeking a full‑time Sales Specialist to join its Lagos office. The role focuses on identifying prospective clients, presenting the company’s financial products and services, and guiding prospects through the complete sales cycle.

Key responsibilities

• Prospect and engage new clients across various sectors.
• Conduct client needs assessments and deliver tailored product presentations.
• Follow up on leads, negotiate terms and close sales.
• Maintain accurate records in the sales tracking system and CRM.
• Provide responsive customer service for policy or product inquiries.
• Collaborate with colleagues to meet individual and team sales targets.
• Participate in training sessions, promotional events and market outreach activities.

Required profile

• Strong communication and relationship‑building abilities.
• Customer‑service orientation with empathy and responsiveness.
• Proven sales skills including prospecting, negotiation and closing.
• Experience in financial services, insurance or related fields is an advantage.
• Excellent organizational and time‑management capabilities.
• Comfort using CRM tools, Microsoft Office and basic data reporting.
