Sales Representative – Retail & FMCG

About the role

The Sales Representative will drive new business and nurture existing client relationships for Kenex Konsults International in the Port Harcourt area. You will promote a range of retail, fashion and FMCG products, meeting sales targets and supporting after‑sales service.

Key responsibilities

• Identify and pursue new sales opportunities through prospecting, networking and referrals.
• Promote and sell company products and services to prospective customers.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with existing and potential clients.
• Conduct product presentations, demonstrations and sales meetings.
• Negotiate prices, contracts and sales agreements.
• Achieve and exceed assigned sales targets and performance goals.
• Follow up on leads, convert prospects into customers and provide after‑sales support.
• Maintain accurate records of customer interactions, sales activities and transactions.
• Monitor market trends, competitor activities and customer preferences.
• Prepare regular sales reports and updates for management.
• Collaborate with marketing and operations teams to support business growth.

Required profile

• Minimum OND/HND/Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business Administration or related field.
• Entry‑level candidates with up to 24 months of relevant experience.
• Excellent communication, negotiation and interpersonal abilities.
• Strong persuasion and relationship‑management skills.
• Ability to work independently and meet sales targets.
• Good organizational and time‑management capabilities.

Required skills

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
• Familiarity with CRM tools (advantageous).
