Sales Representative

About the role

The Sales Representative will welcome customers in the showroom, guide them through the selection of furniture, décor and lighting, and drive sales of interior products. The role combines direct customer interaction, inventory management and support for marketing activities.

Key responsibilities

• Assist customers in choosing furniture, décor items, lighting, wallpapers, curtains and other interior products based on style, functionality and budget.
• Achieve individual and team sales targets through effective selling and upselling techniques.
• Maintain up‑to‑date knowledge of products, promotions and new arrivals.
• Monitor stock levels, restock shelves and report low‑stock items.
• Process transactions accurately using the POS system.
• Keep the showroom clean, organized and visually appealing.
• Respond to inquiries via walk‑ins, phone, WhatsApp and social media.
• Build strong customer relationships to encourage repeat business and handle after‑sales follow‑up.

Required profile

• Minimum SSCE or equivalent qualification.
• Previous experience in retail sales, customer service or interior décor sales is an advantage.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Strong sales and negotiation abilities.
• Professional appearance, positive attitude and willingness to learn.
• Availability to work weekends and flexible retail hours.

Required skills

• Basic computer skills.
• Familiarity with POS systems.
• Good knowledge of social media platforms for customer engagement.
