Sales Representative – Financial Services

About the role

The Sales Representative will work in a hybrid setting, primarily based in Lagos, to drive new business across Custodian Investment Plc's insurance, asset management, and pension offerings. You will generate leads, nurture client relationships, and close sales to meet ambitious targets.

Key responsibilities

• Identify and pursue new business opportunities in the financial services sector.
• Generate and qualify leads, maintaining a robust sales pipeline.
• Conduct client meetings, present product solutions, and prepare proposals.
• Close deals and achieve monthly/quarterly sales targets.
• Maintain accurate records in CRM or other sales tracking systems.
• Collaborate with internal teams to ensure smooth onboarding and service delivery.
• Provide ongoing client support and relationship management.
• Perform market research, participate in sales campaigns and events, and report on performance.

Required profile

• Strong sales, negotiation and persuasion abilities.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Customer‑relationship management experience with a focus on trust building.
• Basic financial literacy and understanding of insurance, investments, or pensions.
• Proficiency with MS Office suite and comfort using CRM/sales tracking tools.
• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Finance or related field, or equivalent sales experience.
• Demonstrated integrity and ability to work independently in a hybrid environment.
