Sales Representative – Automotive Products

About the role

We are looking for an enthusiastic Sales Representative to join our automotive logistics team in Lagos. You will act as the primary point of contact for customers interested in both new‑energy and traditional fuel vehicles, guiding them from inquiry through purchase and after‑sales support.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct detailed research on automotive products, mastering performance specs, configurations, pricing, and after‑sales policies.
• Develop new customers through offline store visits, online inquiries, referrals, and community marketing, while maintaining a comprehensive customer database.
• Engage customers warmly, assess their purchase needs (budget, usage, preferences) and recommend suitable vehicle models and configurations.
• Arrange test drives, explain driving experience and vehicle advantages, and address financing, insurance, and licensing questions to close sales.
• Coordinate with finance, after‑sales, and logistics teams to manage contract signing, payment collection, insurance purchase, and vehicle delivery.
• Perform post‑purchase follow‑ups via calls or messaging platforms, gather feedback, and nurture long‑term relationships for repeat business or referrals.
• Achieve assigned sales targets, regularly summarize performance, analyze data, and propose improvements to sales strategies.
• Maintain accurate records of all interactions and transactions in the company’s CRM system.

Required profile

• Minimum High School Diploma; a degree in automotive marketing, sales management or related field is preferred.
• At least 1 year of experience in automotive sales or a strong interest in the automotive sector for fresh graduates.
• Excellent communication skills and a customer‑focused attitude.

Required skills

• In‑depth knowledge of vehicle performance, configuration, pricing and after‑sales service policies.
• Familiarity with financing, insurance and vehicle licensing processes.
