Sales Manager – Construction Equipment & Heavy Machinery (Nigeria)

About the role

Seeking an experienced Sales Manager with a Mechanical or Automobile Engineering background to drive B2B sales of heavy construction equipment and machinery across Nigeria. The role focuses on revenue growth, business development, key account management, and end‑to‑end sales for construction, mining and infrastructure sectors.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and execute sales strategies for heavy construction equipment, trucks, concrete mixers, batching plants, and earthmoving machinery.
• Identify new business opportunities and major infrastructure projects.
• Build and manage relationships with contractors, fleet owners, project engineers, and procurement teams.
• Handle the complete sales cycle, including lead generation, product demonstrations, negotiations, and deal closure.
• Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and customer requirements.

Required profile

• HND or Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or Automobile Engineering.
• Nigerian national.
• Minimum 10 years of B2B sales experience in heavy construction equipment, commercial trucks, or concrete machinery.
• Strong technical knowledge of heavy machinery.
• Excellent negotiation skills.
• Established network in Nigeria’s construction industry.
