Sales Executive – Hotel Guest Services

About the role

The Sales Executive will support the Sheraton Lagos Hotel’s Sales & Marketing team by handling guest inquiries, promoting the Marriott brand, and driving revenue through up‑selling and loyalty initiatives.

Key responsibilities

• Contact guests or relevant departments to resolve calls, requests, or problems.
• Apply sales techniques to maximize revenue while maintaining guest loyalty, including up‑selling.
• Determine and provide complimentary gifts such as reward points, tickets, or certificates.
• Promote brand awareness both internally and externally.
• Process Marriott Rewards redemptions and all reservation requests, changes, and cancellations.
• Enter reservation and rewards information into the appropriate software.
• Answer, record, and process all guest communications.
• Perform general office duties supporting Sales & Marketing (filing, emailing, typing, faxing).
• Assist management in training and motivating staff and act as a role model.
• Maintain professional appearance, confidentiality, and adherence to company policies.

Required profile

• High school diploma or G.E.D. equivalent.
• At least 2 years of related work experience.
• No supervisory experience required.
• No specific license or certification required.
