About the role
We are looking for a friendly and efficient Sales Assistant to join our school store in Benin City. You will be the first point of contact for customers, handling transactions and maintaining the store’s appearance.
Key responsibilities
- Greet customers warmly and provide excellent service.
- Accurately scan items, bag purchases, issue receipts and reconcile cash at shift start and end.
- Maintain a clean, organized sales area and assist with stock‑taking when needed.
- Collaborate with team members during peak hours to ensure smooth operations.
Required profile
- Minimum BSC, HND or Diploma in Accounting or related field.
- Previous experience as a cashier or in a retail environment is preferred.
- Computer literate with strong numeracy skills.
Required skills
- Proficiency with Point of Sale (POS) systems and cash registers.
- Ability to perform quick and accurate cash calculations.
