Safety, Health, Environmental & Security Coordinator I

About the role

We are seeking a proactive Safety, Health, Environmental & Security Coordinator I to support turnaround activities by coordinating site security operations, contractor screening, and emergency preparedness in Akwa Ibom.

Key responsibilities

• Implement site security and emergency preparedness plans and procedures.
• Develop and administer contractor screening criteria and processes.
• Coordinate contractor screening and issue access passes.
• Develop and maintain the turnaround (T/A) security plan.
• Conduct additional contractor screening and pass issuance during project execution as required.
• Support continuous improvement of site security programmes.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent relevant experience.
• Previous experience in security coordination or a related field.
• Strong organisational, communication, and coordination skills.

Required skills

• Knowledge of site security and emergency preparedness practices.
• Familiarity with contractor screening procedures.
