Retail Sales Officer (Insurance Brokerage)

About the role

The Retail Sales Officer will support the insurance brokerage team by managing leads, preparing quotations, and ensuring smooth policy processing. This full‑time position focuses on delivering excellent client service and helping to grow and retain the business.

Key responsibilities

• Receive, record, and follow up on sales leads and enquiries.
• Assist Sales Executives with client follow‑ups and sales activities.
• Obtain and prepare insurance quotations and proposals.
• Liaise with insurance companies on rates, terms, documentation, and policy processing.
• Maintain accurate records of prospects, quotations, policies, and client information.
• Monitor pending sales, renewals, payments, and documentation.
• Support cross‑selling and upselling opportunities with existing clients.
• Respond to routine client enquiries and coordinate resolution of service issues.
• Prepare weekly sales activity and pipeline reports.
• Ensure all sales activities are properly updated and documented.

Required profile

• HND or Bachelor’s degree in Insurance, Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field.
• 1–2 years of experience in sales support, insurance, customer service, or business development.
• Strong communication, follow‑up, organisational, and attention‑to‑detail skills.
• Basic knowledge of insurance products and processes.
• Proactive, commercially minded, and results‑oriented.

Required skills

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
