Restaurant Cashier (2 Openings)

About the role

J‑Six Enterprises is seeking enthusiastic individuals to join its fast‑service restaurant team in Lagos as Restaurant Cashiers. The role involves handling customer transactions, ensuring accurate order processing, and delivering a friendly service experience during busy periods.

Key responsibilities

• Take customer orders at the counter and enter them into the POS system.
• Receive payments, issue receipts, and provide correct change.
• Pack food items neatly for take‑away or dine‑in customers.
• Manage the cash register, including credit‑card and cash operations.
• Balance the register at the end of each shift.
• Address impatient or irritated customers calmly, especially during rush hours.

Required profile

• OND qualification.
• At least 1 year of experience in a fast‑food or quick‑service restaurant is an advantage.
• Excellent mathematical ability and multitasking skills.
• Basic computer literacy for transaction processing.
• Strong customer‑service orientation.
• Flexibility to work shifts, including evenings and weekends.
• Residence near Abijo or Lekki Phase 1 preferred.
