Research Assistant

About the role

The Research Assistant will support Generation Capital Limited by conducting primary and secondary research on markets, industries, and business opportunities. This entry‑level position offers hands‑on experience in data collection, analysis, and reporting within the banking and finance sector.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct primary and secondary research on assigned topics, markets, industries, and business opportunities.
• Gather, verify, organize, and analyze data from reliable sources.
• Prepare research reports, summaries, presentations, and other documentation.
• Support market and competitor research to identify trends, opportunities, and risks.
• Maintain accurate records and databases of research findings.
• Track industry developments and provide updates to management.
• Assist with surveys, interviews, questionnaires, and other research activities.
• Perform additional research and administrative duties as assigned.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Social Sciences, Business Administration, Economics, Statistics, Research, or related field.
• 1–2 years of experience in research, data analysis, business analysis, or market research (advantageous).
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
• Ability to work independently and meet deadlines.
• Good written and verbal communication skills.
• Proficient internet research and information‑gathering abilities.
