Research Analyst – HR Market Insights

About the role

The Research Analyst will support Estrada International Staffing Solutions by delivering data‑driven insights on employment trends, compensation benchmarks and workforce dynamics across Nigeria and the wider region. You will translate complex research into clear, actionable recommendations for internal teams and corporate clients.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct quantitative and qualitative research on Nigerian and regional employment trends, compensation benchmarks, and industry workforce shifts.
• Monitor market movements, competitor service models, and emerging HR technology trends to generate actionable insights.
• Design, deploy and analyse corporate surveys such as annual salary surveys and workplace sentiment benchmarks.
• Draft whitepapers, industry reports and executive briefings that position EISS as a leading HR consulting authority.
• Provide data‑backed research support for marketing and business development pitch decks, articles and presentations.
• Track changes in labour laws, tax codes and compliance frameworks, producing concise briefing notes for internal and client use.
• Develop research‑insight newsletters for internal and external stakeholders.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Economics, Statistics, Mass Communication, International Relations, Sociology or related social sciences.
• Minimum 1 year of experience in core research, content strategy or market analysis within a consulting, agency or corporate environment.
• Proven ability to design surveys, perform data cross‑tabulation and conduct qualitative analysis.
• Exceptional business writing and editorial skills with a strong commitment to factual accuracy.
• Ability to synthesize research rapidly under tight deadlines.
