About the role
We are seeking a Regulatory Compliance Officer to join our team in Lagos. The role involves ensuring that our operations meet all relevant regulatory requirements and maintaining robust compliance processes.
Key responsibilities
- Prepare and submit regulatory returns on schedule.
- Maintain and update the regulatory reporting calendar.
- Monitor regulatory changes and communicate updates to relevant stakeholders.
- Liaise with regulators to address queries and support inspections.
- Keep accurate records of all filings and correspondence.
- Assist with audit and compliance reviews.
Required profile
- 7‑8 years of experience in regulatory reporting or compliance.
- Strong knowledge of Microfinance Bank (MFB) regulatory requirements.
- Excellent attention to detail and ability to meet strict deadlines.
- Effective documentation and communication abilities.
