Registered Nurse – Yaba, Lagos

About the role

The Registered Nurse will provide direct and indirect patient care in the Yaba clinic and during scheduled home visits. Reporting to the Assistant Manager of Nursing Services, the role involves comprehensive nursing assessments, care planning, and coordination across the healthcare continuum.

Key responsibilities

• Perform patient assessments using age‑appropriate techniques and develop individualized care plans.
• Provide emotional support, health education, and counseling to patients and families.
• Administer medications, monitor effects, and document all care activities in the electronic medical record.
• Deliver basic life support when required and manage patients with infectious diseases.
• Travel to patients’ homes for scheduled visits and ensure appropriate nutrition and follow‑up care.
• Conduct clerical duties, maintain accurate records, and stay updated with current medical research.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree or Diploma in Nursing from an accredited institution, graduating in the top 10% of the class.
• Minimum of 2 years recent clinical experience and at least 3 years postgraduate nursing experience in a teaching or tertiary hospital.
• Current, valid nursing license to practice in Nigeria.
