Registered Nurse (NICU) – Double or Single Qualified

About the role

Procare Hospital Ltd is looking for a compassionate and highly skilled Registered Nurse to join its Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU) team in Abuja. The position is open to candidates who are either double‑qualified (Registered Nurse and Midwife) or single‑qualified (Registered Midwife) and have proven NICU experience.

Key responsibilities

• Support mothers before and after delivery, providing essential care and guidance.
• Collaborate closely with doctors and multidisciplinary healthcare professionals to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
• Monitor, assess, and document the condition of newborns, including premature and critically ill infants.
• Deliver specialized neonatal care within the NICU, adhering to best practice protocols.
• Maintain strict compliance with hospital safety standards and clinical guidelines.

Required profile

• Valid practicing license as a Registered Nurse and Midwife (RMRN) or as a Registered Midwife (RM).
• Demonstrated experience working in a NICU setting.
• Strong clinical and critical‑care competencies.
• Excellent communication skills and a patient‑centred approach.
• Ability to thrive in a fast‑paced, team‑oriented environment.
