Regional Security Lead (North East)

About the role

The Regional Security Lead safeguards Moniepoint’s physical offices in the North East, ensuring a safe environment for staff and assets. You will design and run security programs, lead on‑ground teams, and work closely with law‑enforcement to keep operations uninterrupted.

Key responsibilities

• Implement and enforce security policies across all regional offices.
• Conduct regular security assessments, identify vulnerabilities and devise mitigation strategies.
• Supervise, mentor and schedule private security guards and armed police personnel.
• Serve as the primary liaison with police, emergency services and local authorities.
• Lead investigations of security breaches or incidents and produce factual reports.
• Design and deliver training programmes on emergency response and life‑saving protocols.
• Maintain and upgrade security technology such as CCTV, access‑control and alarm systems.
• Provide expertise on asset recovery and fraud investigations when required.

Required profile

• Minimum 5 years leading a security team in a guard services/physical security firm or as a former commissioned service supervisor (military, police, paramilitary).
• Bachelor’s degree in Criminology, Psychology, Criminal Justice or a related field.
• Recognised security certification (e.g., CPP, PSP, CPO) and a clean criminal record.
• Fluency in local dialects of major tribes in the assigned region.
• Proven experience with automated security systems such as CCTV and burglary alarms.
