Regional Business Head

About the role

Worklyn Global is seeking a dynamic Regional Business Head to lead its automotive operations in Lagos. The role focuses on driving sales growth, expanding market presence, and ensuring profitable performance across the region.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and execute regional business strategies to meet sales, revenue and profitability targets.
• Drive market expansion through dealer acquisition, development and relationship management.
• Lead, coach and manage Regional Sales Managers and cross‑functional teams.
• Monitor regional performance and implement actions to improve market share.
• Build and strengthen relationships with dealers, distributors, fleet customers and key stakeholders.
• Oversee inventory planning, dealer productivity and operational efficiency.
• Conduct market research and competitor analysis to identify new opportunities.
• Collaborate with Sales, Aftersales, Supply Chain and Finance to enhance customer experience.
• Monitor collections, credit control, inventory turnover and other commercial metrics.
• Ensure prompt resolution of customer complaints while maintaining high service standards.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Engineering or related field (MBA preferred).
• 8–12 years progressive experience in sales or commercial management within automotive, 2‑Wheeler, 3‑Wheeler or FMCG distribution.
• Minimum 3 years in a regional or senior leadership role.
• Proven experience managing dealer and distributor networks.
• Strong commercial acumen with a track record of revenue and market‑share growth.
• Experience managing P&L, inventory, credit control and operational performance.
• Excellent leadership, negotiation, stakeholder management and communication skills.
• Willingness to travel within the assigned region.
