About the role
The Regional Business Development Officer will drive AMCE’s referral growth, strategic partnerships and market presence across Lagos and the Western states of Nigeria. The role implements the regional sales strategy, building high‑value referral networks and delivering measurable growth aligned with AMCE’s Centres of Excellence and non‑communicable disease agenda.
Key responsibilities
- Develop and execute a strategic territory plan for Lagos, Ogun, Oyo, Osun, Ondo and Ekiti, prospecting and onboarding new referring partners such as private hospitals, clinics and diagnostic centres.
- Conduct sales engagements through virtual outreach and in‑person visits, negotiate referral agreements and achieve monthly/quarterly partner acquisition and referral volume targets.
- Build and maintain trust‑based relationships with healthcare providers, act as the primary representative in the West and coordinate referrals with central clinical teams.
- Monitor competitive environment and healthcare trends, prepare weekly activity reports, pipeline forecasts and maintain CRM records of all interactions.
Required profile
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing or a related field.
- Minimum three years of proven B2B field sales experience, preferably in healthcare, pharmaceutical or medical services within Western Nigeria.
- Demonstrated record of meeting and exceeding sales targets in a multi‑location territory.
- Must be based in Lagos and possess an existing network or proven experience engaging healthcare providers in the Western states.
Required skills
- High proficiency in CRM software.
- Advanced use of Microsoft Office suite.
- Competence with virtual meeting platforms.
