Receptionist – Apartment Hotel

About the role

We are looking for an experienced, professional and customer‑focused Receptionist to manage guest reception and front‑office operations at our serviced apartment facility in Apo, Abuja. The role is the first point of contact for guests, ensuring smooth check‑in and check‑out, accurate reservation handling and a high‑standard guest experience.

Key responsibilities

• Welcome guests and provide a friendly, professional reception experience.
• Handle guest check‑in and check‑out accurately and efficiently.
• Manage reservations, enquiries, requests and service needs across PMS, OTA and online booking platforms.
• Maintain accurate guest records, bookings, payments and reception documentation.
• Coordinate with housekeeping, maintenance and security to ensure rooms are ready.
• Handle guest complaints professionally and escalate when necessary.
• Prepare daily reception and operational reports for management.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree, HND or OND in Hospitality Management, Business Administration or related field.
• Minimum 7 years of hands‑on experience in hotels, serviced apartments or similar hospitality environments.
• Proven experience in front‑office/reception operations and shift work including weekends and public holidays.
• Strong communication, interpersonal and problem‑solving abilities.

Required skills

• Proficiency in Property Management System (PMS) and hotel management software.
• Advanced use of Microsoft Excel and other relevant computer applications.
• Practical experience managing OTA and online booking platforms.
