About the role
The Quality Assurance Officer will monitor and maintain quality standards across construction projects, ensuring compliance with specifications, regulations and client expectations.
Key responsibilities
- Develop and implement project-specific QA/QC procedures, inspection and test plans, and quality documentation.
- Conduct routine site inspections of materials, workmanship and completed works to verify compliance.
- Inspect and verify construction materials, coordinate testing and manage material certifications.
- Identify non‑conformities, issue NCRs, and follow up on corrective actions.
- Maintain accurate quality records and prepare periodic QA/QC performance reports.
Required profile
- Bachelor’s degree or HND in Civil Engineering, Construction Management or related field.
- 3–5 years of QA/QC experience in construction or infrastructure projects.
- Knowledge of Nigerian building regulations and ISO 9001 quality management principles.
- Strong analytical ability and attention to detail.
Required skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Word
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel
