Quality Assurance Manager

About the role

We are seeking a proactive Quality Assurance professional to lead and elevate quality practices across our software delivery lifecycle. In this role you will own product quality end‑to‑end, ensuring every release meets high standards for reliability, performance and user experience for our electrical grid management solutions.

Key responsibilities

• Define and implement QA strategy, standards and testing frameworks (UI, API, performance) and integrate testing into CI/CD pipelines.
• Lead end‑to‑end testing across functional, regression, integration, performance and UAT, and enforce release quality gates.
• Own the defect lifecycle, including logging, prioritisation, tracking and resolution, and conduct root‑cause analysis with engineering and product teams.
• Manage and develop a high‑performing QA team, set goals, KPIs, handle hiring, onboarding, performance reviews and capacity planning.
• Conduct risk assessments, investigate production issues and drive continuous improvement of release processes.

Required profile

• Proven experience in software quality assurance across the SDLC in Agile environments.
• Strong leadership, communication and stakeholder‑management abilities.
• Ability to work autonomously in a hybrid setting and collaborate with multicultural, distributed teams.

Required skills

• Test automation tools: Selenium, Playwright, Cypress, REST Assured, Pytest, TestNG.
• API testing tools: Postman, Swagger.
• Performance testing tools: JMeter, k6.
• Programming/scripting: Python, Java, JavaScript.
• CI/CD platforms: Jenkins, GitHub Actions, GitLab CI.
• Database/SQL for data validation.
• Bug tracking and test management: Jira, Bugzilla, TestRail.
