Quality Assurance Assistant – Manufacturing

About the role

The Quality Assurance Assistant will support the Quality Control Officer in ensuring that raw materials, production processes, and finished products meet company standards, regulatory requirements, and customer expectations. This position is based in a flour‑mill environment and involves routine laboratory and on‑site testing.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct routine physico‑chemical analysis of raw materials and finished products.
• Monitor chemical micro‑feeders to verify correct additive application.
• Perform test baking of production and packaging samples to assess product performance.
• Inspect finished‑product packaging and verify weight conformity with standards.
• Analyze diesel supplied to the plant for specification compliance.
• Participate in plant fumigation exercises and enforce FSSC, GMP, and quality‑assurance procedures.

Required profile

• Minimum of two years’ experience in quality assurance, quality control, or manufacturing.
• 5 O‑Level credits including Mathematics and English (or equivalent NABTEB/Trade Test).
• Keen eye for detail and strong analytical/problem‑solving abilities.
• Ability to follow established procedures and quality‑control processes.
