QA Engineer – Mobile Applications

About the role

Our mobile apps are how millions of people access credit and move money. When something breaks, it can affect a disbursement or a repayment. You will shape how we test mobile, from regression processes to automation suites and AI‑driven tooling.

Key responsibilities

• Own pre‑release regression and validation for iOS and Android and make the release‑readiness decision.
• Build and maintain the mobile automation suite and run it in CI for every release candidate.
• Decide what to automate versus manual testing, keeping the suite reliable and trustworthy.
• Design end‑to‑end coverage across core user journeys.
• Perform exploratory testing on high‑risk changes such as interrupted flows or poor network conditions.
• Test on real devices, including low‑end Android phones and under poor network conditions.
• Leverage AI across the testing cycle – generate test cases, draft automation, triage crashes, cluster support tickets and summarize logs.
• Audit AI‑generated adversarial tests and verify fixes to ensure no new regressions.

Required profile

• 5+ years of mobile QA experience on iOS and Android.
• Fintech, payments or lending background.
• Strong written communication and ability to make release decisions under pressure.
• Proactive ownership, curiosity and persistence in finding and closing gaps.

Required skills

• iOS and Android testing.
• Automation tools: Maestro, Appium, Espresso, XCUITest.
• Programming languages: Kotlin, Swift, Python, TypeScript.
• CI/CD pipelines.
• AI tooling for test generation and crash triage.
• Diagnostic tools: adb/logcat, Xcode console, Charles, Proxyman.
