Pump Attendant

About the role

The Pump Attendant will be responsible for dispensing fuel accurately and providing courteous service to customers at our Marina location in Port Harcourt. This role requires attention to safety procedures and handling of cash and electronic payments.

Key responsibilities

• Dispense fuel accurately and efficiently to customers.
• Operate fuel dispensing pumps safely and correctly.
• Receive and process cash, POS, transfers, or other approved payments.
• Ensure accurate recording of daily sales and transactions.
• Monitor fuel dispensing activities and report any discrepancies.
• Maintain cleanliness and orderliness around the pump area.
• Report equipment faults, spills, or safety concerns promptly.
• Assist with other assigned duties when required.

Required profile

• Minimum qualification of ND.
• Previous experience as a pump attendant or in a similar customer‑facing role is an advantage.
• Good communication and customer service skills.
• Must be smart, neat, responsible, and presentable.
• Ability to handle cash and basic transactions accurately.
• Honest, trustworthy, punctual, and hardworking.
• Ability to work effectively under pressure and on a shift rotation.
• Safety‑conscious and able to follow instructions.
• Proximity to Rumuji Choba is an added advantage.
