About the role
The Project Coordinator will support the on‑the‑ground execution of the Nigeria Methane Emissions Reduction Pilot Programme (NiMERP) and facilitate MARS engagement across Nigeria and priority countries in the region.
Key responsibilities
- Facilitate on‑the‑ground execution of NiMERP.
- Maintain relationships with key stakeholders in Nigeria to support NiMERP and other IMEO priorities.
- Provide support for MARS engagement in Nigeria and other priority countries.
Required profile
- Demonstrated ability to manage work effectively and deliver tasks quickly and with high quality.
- Strong communication skills for timely and appropriate interaction with UNEP staff and external stakeholders.
- Experience in coordinating multi‑stakeholder projects in an environmental context.
