Production Supervisor – Manufacturing (Kano)

About the role

We are looking for a Production Supervisor in our Kano Factory who will be responsible for directly supervising and coordinating the production activities and operating workers such as precision workers, machine setters and operators, assemblers, fabricators, plant and system operators.

Key responsibilities

• Supervision of all production activities in the factory and on‑the‑job training of production personnel.
• Estimating sizes, distances, quantities, time, costs, resources or materials needed to perform work activities.
• Analyzing data or information to identify underlying principles, reasons or facts.
• Monitor production and process qualities and ensure strict adherence to safety precautions.
• Maintain proper record keeping of activities and attend to other matters assigned by management.

Required profile

• First Degree in Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, Polymer Science or related chemistry‑based discipline.
• 1‑3 years’ experience with supervision, maintenance and basic engineering skills.
• Analytical approach to problem solving, physical and mental alertness, good physical mobility and leadership qualities.
