Production Supervisor

About the role

The Production Supervisor will lead daily food‑processing shifts, ensuring smooth production flow and compliance with quality and safety standards. This role is based in Lagos and reports to senior management.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee daily operations of food processing shifts, maintaining efficient production flow.
• Ensure all output meets quality standards and regulatory requirements.
• Maintain a safe, sanitary and organised work environment.
• Plan, coordinate and manage shift schedules and handovers.
• Monitor and optimise utilisation of personnel and production resources.
• Evaluate employee performance and provide coaching and feedback.
• Enforce standard operating procedures and monitor Critical Control Points.

Required profile

• Strong communication skills to convey information across all staff levels.
• Solid organisational and leadership abilities for time‑sensitive environments.
• Experience in a food processing or manufacturing supervisory role is an asset.

Required skills

• Working knowledge of utilities and basic technical systems relevant to food processing.
• Strong understanding of HACCP principles and ability to identify/manage CCPs.
