Product Specialist

About the role

Esco is seeking a motivated Product Specialist to drive sales of its laboratory and IVF medical devices across the Lagos region. You will act as the primary link between customers and our product portfolio, delivering technical information and supporting the growth of our market presence.

Key responsibilities

• Plan and conduct sales calls and meetings with existing and prospective customers.
• Present product features, applications, and benefits to clients.
• Provide product training, technical information, and assistance during joint customer visits.
• Prepare quotations, tender documentation, and project proposals.
• Implement sales and market‑growth strategies aligned with the company’s business plan.
• Monitor sales performance, forecasts, and pipeline in collaboration with the Sales Manager.
• Prepare weekly and monthly sales and marketing reports.
• Support new product launches and promotional activities such as exhibitions, webinars, email campaigns, seminars, and training sessions.
• Review, translate, and localise marketing materials when required.
• Conduct regular product seminars and presentations, both in‑person and online.
• Gather customer feedback, market intelligence, competitor activities, pricing, and industry trends.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Life Sciences, Biological Sciences, Medical Sciences, or a related discipline.
• One to three years of relevant experience; fresh graduates are welcome.
• Previous experience in sales, laboratory, or technical product environments is an advantage.
• Strong presentation, communication, and customer‑service abilities.
• Willingness to travel within the assigned territory for customer visits.
