Product Manager – Dashboard & Billing Platform

About the role

Duplo, a Lagos‑based fintech startup, is looking for a Product Manager to own the strategy and roadmap for the Duplo Dashboard – the spend‑management and billing platform used by businesses across Nigeria, South Africa, Ghana and Kenya. You will drive the end‑to‑end delivery of billing and monetisation features, working closely with engineering, design, compliance, finance and go‑to‑market teams.

Key responsibilities

• Own product strategy, vision and roadmap for Duplo Dashboard (Spend Management, Billing, Compartmentalisation, TMS, E‑invoicing).
• Lead end‑to‑end delivery of the billing and compartmentalisation monetisation roadmap, from discovery and BRD/PRD authoring through launch and adoption.
• Partner with Engineering, Design, Compliance, Finance and GTM to translate customer and business requirements into shippable product increments.
• Define and track success metrics (activation, adoption, revenue impact) and use data to prioritise the roadmap.
• Run customer discovery and stakeholder interviews across Duplo’s markets to validate use cases.
• Plan migration of existing non‑paying customers as monetised features roll out, minimising churn and support escalations.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science or a related discipline.
• 5‑6 years of product management experience, including ownership of a B2B fintech, payments or SaaS product from strategy through delivery.
• Proven track record shipping financial‑operations solutions, monetisation or billing features at a fintech or B2B company.
• Strong ability to write clear BRDs/PRDs and work cross‑functionally with Engineering, Design, Compliance and GTM.
• Comfortable using data to define success metrics, prioritise roadmaps and make trade‑off decisions.
• Experience or strong interest in African markets and building B2B financial infrastructure across multiple countries.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to influence stakeholders without direct authority.
• Bias for action and comfort operating in a fast‑paced startup environment.
